Staff

Sheri LeCompte, Owner and P.T., Cert. MDT, C.W.T., began practicing physical therapy both clinically and administratively in 1983. She guides a professional staff of therapists, assistants, athletic trainers, technicians and office personnel in the endeavor to provide your physical therapy needs in the Shelbyville area. Sheri is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Physical Therapy program. She is additionally certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment from the McKenzie Institute and she is a Certified Weight Trainer. 

She is one of only a few clinicians certified in MDT in the state of Kentucky. Certified MDT clinicians are advanced specialty trained in the treatment of back and neck patients. Sheri is also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Physical Therapy Association and the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association.

Sheri is a Shelby County native and chose to practice in Shelby County so she could serve the community that has supported her throughout the years. Sheri and her husband, Charlie, have two daughters, Mallori and Haleigh, and live in Shelby County. They are active members of Highland Baptist Church. Sheri is also a group discussion leader for Bible Study Fellowship in Louisville.

Camie Turner, P.T. is a licensed physical therapist having begun practice in 1981. Before coming to Shelbyville Physical Therapy & Spine Center, Camie was the Rehab Director at Crestview Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Shelbyville.  Camie is a 1981 graduate of University of Kentucky. Camie has two children, Justin and Brianna, who are in college and she and her husband, Joe, reside in Shelbyville. They are active members of Shelby Christian Church.

 

 

Lyndsay Martin, P.T., D.P.T. is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated from Bellarmine University's Doctorate Physical Therapy Program in December of 2005. Lyndsay joined the staff at Physical Therapy & Spine Care Center in October of 2006 and lives in Louisville, KY.

 


Andrew Cline, MPH, is licensed by the KY State Board of Medical Licensure as an Athletic Trainer. He currently holds positions at the University of Louisville School of Medicine as the Director of Protective Medicine, a seat on the State Emergency Response Commission, and an Instructor/Faculty position for the Louisiana State University (LSU) National Center for Biomedical Research and Training. While completing a Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Health Promotion at the University of Kentucky, Andrew worked as an Athletic Trainer for the UK Athletics Program covering varsity sports. After completing his Bachelor's work, Andrew completed a Master's in Public Health at UK while working as the Head Athletic Trainer for The Sayre School in Lexington, KY.

Andrew and his wife, Alecia, have three kids: Will, Alex and Elli. The Clines reside in Taylorsville and attend Southeast Christian Church.

Charlie LeCompte, Softball and Baseball Instuctor, has over 30 years of sports experience. He played three sports for Shelby County High School: basketball 3 years, football 1 year, baseball 2 years. He played competitive softball at the highest level for 20 years throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has three National Championship titles for Slow Pitch softball, and numerous state individual titles.

Charlie has also served as an Assistant Middle School Basketball Coach from 2002 to 2004. He is presently an Assistant Coach for the Shelby County High School Fast Pitch  Softball Team where he began serving in 2002. Charlie and his wife, Sheri, live in Shelby County with their two daughters, Mallori and Haleigh. Charlie is an active member of Highland Baptist Church.

 

Debbie Goldstein, Physical Therapy Technician, has more than 23 years of experience having worked for Shelbyville Physical Therapy & Spine Center, P.S.C. since 1994. Prior to that, she worked for a hand clinic in Louisville for five years. Debbie and her husband, Bill, live in Pewee Valley.

 

 

Crystal Davis, Physical Therapy Technician, has 2 years of General Studies at Jefferson Community College. Crystal and her husband, Brian, reside in Shelby County with their two daughters, Katelyn and Destini.

 

 

 

Lisa Jesse, Office Manager, is a certified transcriptionist through Career Step, an online program affiliated with AAMT. She previously worked at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville in the medical records  department. Lisa and her husband, Brandon, resides in Nelson County with their son Nicholas.

 

 

 

Debbie Rothenburger, Billing Manager, has been employed with Shelbyville Physical Therapy & Spine Care Center, P.S.C. since 1994 filing insurance claims and resolving insurance disputes. A graduate of Shelby County High School, Debbie and her husband, Fred, live in Shelby County and have three children and one grandchild.
